Congrats on finishing! That prairie root metaphor is brilliant. The visual of deep native roots versus shallow lawn grass really captures somthing about sustaining through the long haul versus just performing. I've seen way too many academics burnt out from trying to maintan that manicured lawn look. The post-its taking over the living room made me smile.
